None for now
We’re Homevest, a company founded to make home ownership work for expats, migrants, nomads and holiday makers.
Europeans are moving across the continent like never before.
Inflexible rules around lending and credit means the new generation of mobile workers are finding themselves locked out from the property market. So, let’s do something about it.
We are a small team of like minded people with diverse backgrounds and a determination to make a dent in the European mortgage market by bringing it into the 21st century.
Our peeps are spread across Europe (currently in London, Stockholm and Tallinn) and we work remote first (but we do enjoy meeting in person).
Backed by one of the early Revolut investors and a group of successful founders and operators, we have the resources needed to build a product with large scale impact 🌍
Here to serve with honesty
Our main focus it to win the hearts of our customers and make sure they achieve what they were aiming for. Our sole purpose as a company is to help people get the home they want without wasting their time and money. What better way to win our customers other than by rooting for them, honestly, wholeheartedly and with every occasion?
Outcome > Output > Me
The impact one has weighs more than the output they generate. Doing work for the sake of having output is a non-value. And the output one creates is more valuable than achieving any ones’ individual agenda. If you care about doing what’s best for customers, you can’t waste time fretting about how you win for yourself, ****but about what’s the right thing to do for the most people.
Thorough beats now, done beats perfect
Any loose end will come back to bite us. We believe that a job thoroughly done is one that will resist the test of time. If it can’t make it, it means we will have to redo that job. And then why even do it in the first place?
But if you face an all encompassing ambition to capture perfection, then that is a fool’s errand and you will never reach your goal. Never put ends before means.
GLHF
Crack a joke, don’t take yourself too serious and make sure not to take others too. We’re here for the long run and we need to give ourselves slack, space, and make sure we support each other in enjoying the ride we’re in.
